A full day tour of Delphi, home of the most famous Oracle of the ancient world, Pythia.
We kick off from your hotel in Athens and drive for about 2 hours towards Delphi. On the way, we take you through the glorious history of Delphi, the importance of this little town and the significance of Pythia. We stop for lunch at a restaurant in Delphi, while enjoying the magnificent view.
On the way back, we visit Arachova, a scenic resort with beautiful little streets, cafes and shops.
The tour lasts about 8-9 hours.
*Optional detour: the Monastery of Osios Loukas, one of the most important monuments of Byzantine architecture and art. Very well preserved and listed on UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites.
